The mako shark is said to be one of the fastest fish in the sea and when this blue hydro dynamic torpedo arrives at the boat it can put on a terrific display. This is why Mako shark photos are so special. The mako shark is found in the open ocean environment and this makes this type of shark photography particularly difficult. Sea conditions are often challenging and we have to travel a long way off Cape Point (Cape Town, South Africa) in order to find them. We are however fortunate that our open ocean safaris still do give us a great chance to photograph these amazing sharks.
