View the Apex predator of the ocean up close and personal. Situated only 2 ½ hours from Cape Town, Gansbaai offers a safe, educational, eco shark cage diving trip from mid- September to February. No experience needed. Door to door transfers arranged.

Itinerary

8.30 am	Meeting (depending on tide and weather conditions. Exact time will be confirmed with you the day beforehand)
8.45 am	Breakfast and an informative talk on the sharks and area.
9.30 am	Launch. Three to four hours at sea based on shark activity and sea conditions.
1.00 pm	Arrive at harbour .Tea/coffee is served and unwind by viewing the DVD of your trip (available for purchase)
4.00 pm	Arrive in Cape Town

Sevengill Cow Shark Dive

The Seven Gill Cowshark is a prehistoric apex predator which we are fortunate enough to see regularly at one location to be able to confidently guide dives there with a 90% success rate. This dive is close to shore within the kelp forests and offers viewing of smaller endemic shark species as well.

Mako and Blue Shark Cage diving

Join an exploration trip of the open ocean off Cape Point. With a success rate of 90% you are sure to view and cage dive with Mako and Blue sharks. A great part of this trip is that it is an all-round nature experience.

We get to see spectacular views of Cape Point from the water; a large variety of pelagic sea birds, and we very often see dolphins and whales.

There is also a small chance of seeing Smooth Hammerheads and Bronze Whaler sharks.

This is a full day trip and guests need to be comfortable going to sea.
