Shark Sightings

Wow! Our trips from Simon's Town to Seal Island have taken a twist what with our first sightings of Bronze Whaler sharks together with the Seven Gill Cow Sharks. To see and dive with two species of shark is special and our guests are loving it. Water temp. is exceptionally high for False Bay at a balmy 20 degrees and our visbility is between 6 - 8 meters.

Gansbaai is anchoring inshore and are still seeing good numbers of Bronze Whalers. Unfortunately the close location of the beach does tend to offer poor water visibility last recorded at 2 meters.

Mossel Bay, 5 hours from Cape Town is the only location at this time seeing Great White sharks although there is long wait sometimes and activity can be slow.
