26 November Update

shark cage diving Cape Town

Posted on Monday, 26 November 2018

The last 2 days have seen between 4 - 8 cow sharks at Seal Island, False Bay departing Simon's Town. This half day trip so close to Cape Town is enjoying 3- 4 meters water visbility, 65 000 Cape Fur Seals with the odd African Penguin. The sharks are interactive and the guests are having a great time.

The cherry on the top was the 500 common dolphins riding our bow waves on the way back.

The sightings in Gansbaai are consistent, at between 10 - 12 copper shark sightings per trip. The visisbility is about 1 meter due to working close inshore. The copper sharks are also interactive and fun to dive with.
